WooCommerce Integration

Connect your WooCommerce store to Conviro so your chatbot can answer product questions, track orders, and notify customers about stock changes.

Requirements

  • Pro plan or above
  • A WordPress site with WooCommerce installed and active
  • WordPress 6.0+ and WooCommerce 7.0+

Plugin Installation

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins -> Add New.
  2. Search for Conviro for WooCommerce (or upload the plugin ZIP from the Conviro dashboard).
  3. Click Install and then Activate.
  4. Go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Conviro tab.
  5. Enter your Conviro API Key (generate one at Dashboard -> Settings -> API Keys).
  6. Click Connect and authorize the integration.

Product Sync

Once connected, Conviro automatically syncs your product catalog:

  • Product names, descriptions, prices -- used by the AI to answer product questions
  • Categories and tags -- help the AI understand product relationships
  • Images -- can be displayed in chat responses
  • Variants -- size, color, and other variations are synced
  • Stock status -- in stock, out of stock, backorder

Sync runs automatically every 6 hours or can be triggered manually from Dashboard -> Settings -> Integrations -> WooCommerce -> Sync Now.

Order Tracking

Your chatbot can look up order status when a customer provides their order number or email:

  1. Customer asks: "Where is my order #12345?"
  2. The AI queries your WooCommerce store via the API.
  3. The response includes: order status, shipping tracking number, estimated delivery date.

Supported Order Statuses

  • Pending payment
  • Processing
  • On hold
  • Completed
  • Cancelled
  • Refunded
  • Failed

Stock Notifications

Configure stock-related chatbot behaviors:

  • Out of stock -- the bot informs the customer and suggests alternatives
  • Back in stock -- the bot can notify customers who previously asked about an out-of-stock item (via email or WhatsApp)
  • Low stock alert -- internal notification to your team when stock drops below a threshold

Flow Builder Integration

Use WooCommerce data in your flows:

  • Order Lookup node -- fetch order details by order ID or customer email
  • Product Recommendation node -- suggest products based on browsing history or conversation context
  • Cart Recovery node -- trigger a message when a customer abandons their cart

Tips

  • Keep product descriptions concise and accurate -- the AI uses them to answer questions.
  • Enable order tracking as your first WooCommerce automation -- it handles the #1 e-commerce support question.
  • Use the Product Recommendation node in Flow Builder to increase average order value.
  • Monitor sync status regularly; if products are missing, trigger a manual sync.
