AI Presence & Handoff Label
Two small settings change how your brand sounds. AI presence controls whether visitors see that the assistant is AI. The handoff label is the name you give your human team when a chat moves from the bot to a person.
Where to set them
Dashboard -> Assistants -> [your bot] -> Setup -> Behavior tab, in the Intent Actions section.
Reveal AI assistant
- Toggle: "Reveal AI assistant".
- ON — bot messages carry a small "AI" tag, and visitors see a "talk to a person" link.
- OFF — the "AI" tag and that link are hidden, so the assistant reads as part of your team.
Turn it off for a more human brand voice; keep it on for full transparency.
Handoff label
- Field: "Handoff label" (max 40 characters).
- This is what the bot calls your team when a conversation is handed to a human — for example "Support", "Concierge", or your team's name.
- Default: Representative (shown as "Temsilci" in Turkish).
Why it matters
- Match the assistant's tone to your brand — transparent AI, or a seamless team member.
- A clear handoff label sets the right expectation the moment a human takes over.
> Tip: If you disclose AI elsewhere (e.g. in your privacy policy), keeping "Reveal AI assistant" on keeps the chat consistent with your stated policy.
