Take bookings while your team runs the floor
Conviro answers menu, hours and allergen questions and takes reservation requests in the same conversation — on WhatsApp, Instagram DM and your website — writing every request straight into your venue’s Google Calendar.
Who it’s for
Restaurants, cafes and hospitality venues whose team is on the floor at service time, where reservation requests, catering enquiries and “are you open tonight?” messages pile up on WhatsApp and Instagram with nobody free to reply.
A real booking, start to finish
Booked into your own Google Calendar — never an invented time.
Conversations Conviro automates
- “Table for 4 tonight around 8?” — turned into a reservation request on your calendar
- Menu, allergen and dietary questions answered from your knowledge base
- Opening hours, address, parking and “are you open on the holiday?” questions
- Catering, private-hire and large-group event enquiries captured as leads
What the AI helps with
- Checks your Google Calendar’s free/busy and only takes requests for times you’re open to bookings
- Writes the reservation request into your calendar with the party size, time and guest’s contact details
- Answers menu, allergen and opening-hours questions from your knowledge base, in the guest’s language
- Captures catering and event enquiries and tags them for your team to follow up
When a human steps in
The assistant takes reservation requests and answers everyday questions. Large groups, private events, special requests, complaints, or confirming whether a dish is safe for a specific allergy are handed to your team with the full conversation — it never promises a table is held or guarantees an allergen is safe without a human confirming.
What it does today
- Books conversationally on WhatsApp, Instagram DM and web chat — in your customer’s language.
- Checks availability and writes events into your own Google Calendar — your data, no lock-in.
- Only ever confirms a booking the calendar actually accepted — it never invents a slot or a time.
- GDPR-compliant and EU-hosted, with admin controls for exactly what the assistant may do.
Not yet — so you know what you’re buying
- Automated reminders and no-show follow-ups — on the roadmap, not shipped yet.
- A standalone booking widget — today it books inside the chat, not on a separate page.
- Customer self-service reschedule / cancel screens.
- One Google Calendar per assistant — no Outlook/Apple and no multi-calendar yet.
Integrations & automation flows
Business KPIs that improve
Captured requests
Reservation and catering messages get an instant reply instead of an unread thread.
After-hours bookings
Guests reserve at 11pm or on the weekend instead of waiting for the phone line.
Fewer interruptions
Routine “are you open / do you have a table” questions are handled without pulling staff off the floor.
No phantom slots
Requests are only taken for times your calendar is actually open to bookings.
Frequently asked questions
How does the assistant actually take a reservation?+
It reads your Google Calendar’s free/busy, only takes requests for times you’re open to bookings, and writes the reservation into your calendar with the party size, time and guest’s contact details. It never confirms a time the calendar didn’t accept, so you don’t get bookings for hours you’re closed or fully committed.
Is this a full table-management system?+
No — and that’s deliberate. Conviro takes reservation requests and writes them to your Google Calendar so your team sees every one in one place. It doesn’t track individual table inventory or seating plans; your host confirms the exact table on arrival. Today it books inside the chat rather than on a separate reservation page.
Can it answer menu and allergen questions?+
Yes, from your knowledge base — it can share the menu, opening hours and documented allergen information in the guest’s language. But it never guarantees a dish is safe for a specific allergy: those requests are handed to your kitchen team, who confirm before the guest relies on the answer.
Does it send booking reminders?+
Not yet — reminders and no-show follow-ups are on our roadmap. Today it takes the reservation and writes the event to your calendar, so your existing Google Calendar reminders still work as usual.
